How information is handled when you use Integrated and this website.

Scope and contact

This Privacy Policy explains how Integrated’s developer (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Integrated applications for Mac, iPhone, and Apple Watch, and the website at integratedevices.com.

The developer identified in the footer is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to joeorjoseph.t@gmail.com.

Information on your devices

Integrated stores actions, Groups, script files, Shortcut references, preferences, and device connection information on your devices. Action inputs are transmitted to the device that executes the action. Device synchronization and action delivery do not use an Integrated cloud relay.

Connections between paired devices are authenticated and encrypted. Private signing keys are stored in the system Keychain. Running or synchronizing an action does not, by itself, send its script, name, or inputs to us.

Local activity records and diagnostic logs may contain action names, device information, file paths, connection details, and error messages. These records support troubleshooting. They are distinct from the limited usage analytics described below.

Scripts and Shortcuts may access files, control other applications, or communicate with external services, depending on their instructions and the permissions you grant. Those external services handle information under their own policies. System authentication provides Integrated with an authentication result; it does not provide fingerprint or Face ID data.

Optional usage analytics

Usage analytics is disabled by default and is not required to execute actions. You may enable or disable it in the iPhone app under Settings → Privacy. When enabled, limited iPhone and Apple Watch usage events are sent through your iPhone to PostHog’s US Cloud service to help us understand reliability and improve the product.

These events include sampled action outcomes, pairing and setup events, broad timing and failure categories, app and operating-system versions, and successful-use events. Random analytics identifiers allow related events to be associated without using your name, email address, or device-pairing identity.

The analytics payload excludes script contents, action and Group names, action inputs, device names, saved network addresses, and raw error messages. Integrated does not use PostHog to record screens or automatically capture general interactions.

PostHog is configured to discard client IP addresses from stored events. Integrated also disables IP-based location enrichment for its analytics and feedback events. Network services necessarily process connection information when receiving a request; discarding IP metadata from PostHog events is distinct from that network processing and from the practices of other providers described in this policy.

Disabling analytics stops new uploads and clears queued iPhone events. The Watch applies the change when it receives the updated preference or its consent confirmation expires. This does not automatically delete events already transmitted. Further information is available in PostHog’s privacy notice.

Purchases

Apple and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement information to provide paid features, verify trial eligibility, and restore purchases. This may include transaction or receipt information, product identifiers, and a customer identifier generated by the purchase service. Purchase processing is separate from optional usage analytics.

Apple handles payment information. Integrated does not provide scripts, action inputs, or device-pairing identifiers as RevenueCat customer attributes. The providers’ handling of purchase and associated technical information is described in Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Feedback and correspondence

When you submit feedback or a problem report within the app, PostHog processes your message, any reply email address you provide, the report type, app version, and platform. Problem reports may also include diagnostic logs you choose to attach. This processing occurs at your request, independently of the usage-analytics preference, so we can investigate the issue or respond.

The PostHog IP-discard configuration described above also applies to feedback events. Information you include in a message or diagnostic attachment is still part of that submission. Review attachments before sending them; automated redaction may not remove every personal detail.

The website’s contact form prepares an email in your email application or copy the text at your request. They do not submit your draft to a website database. If you send the email, we receive its contents, sender address, and any attachments through Gmail and use them to respond or consider your request. Google and your email provider process the correspondence under their respective policies, including Google’s privacy policy.

Website and downloads

This website does not include advertising trackers, website analytics, or session replay. Its contact-form drafts remain in the current page until you open your email application or copy them. The site serves its own images and other assets; your browser may cache those files.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website. It processes request and connection information, which may include your IP address, requested URL, and browser information, to deliver content and protect the service. Its handling of this information is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The PostHog IP-discard setting does not govern Cloudflare.

Installing an action from the marketplace opens Integrated on your Mac and requests the action file from its hosting service. You review and save the action in the app. The website cannot read your existing action library or confirm whether you saved the imported action.

Mac application downloads are hosted on GitHub Releases. GitHub processes download requests under its privacy statement. Where in-app updates are enabled, Sparkle requests update information from the configured feed and downloads releases from their hosting providers. Sparkle’s optional system profiling is disabled in Integrated. These requests still involve ordinary connection and request information.

Retention and deletion

Actions, settings, pairing records, and cached information are stored locally for the features you use. Removing the app may leave exported files, Keychain records, backups, or copies on other devices. Local diagnostic log files do not currently have an automatic expiry; clearing the displayed activity list does not erase those files.

Analytics and in-app feedback are stored in PostHog under its plan-based event-retention policy. The current Free plan provides a one-year event window. That window determines which events are available in analytics reports; it is not a guaranteed physical-deletion deadline. Deletion requests are handled separately through the provider’s available deletion mechanisms. See PostHog’s event-retention documentation.

Purchase records and hosting request information are subject to the applicable providers’ retention and deletion policies. Support email does not currently have a fixed automatic deletion period. You may request deletion of correspondence or other information we hold using the contact address in this policy. Disabling analytics does not delete previously submitted feedback, purchase records, or email.

Your choices and rights

You can disable optional analytics, manage actions and Groups, remove device pairings, and revoke permissions through your device’s system settings. We do not sell personal information or use Integrated’s analytics for targeted advertising.

We use the service providers identified in this policy for analytics, support, purchases, hosting, and downloads. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. We may disclose information where required by applicable law.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a relevant supervisory authority. Requests may be sent to joeorjoseph.t@gmail.com. We may need sufficient information to identify the relevant records. Random analytics identifiers may prevent us from locating events using an email address alone, and we cannot remotely access or erase information stored only on your devices.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our information-handling practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
